WRITER, EDITOR, TRANSLATOR
I am a Montreal-based writer of speculative fiction and French-to-English translator. I am also a Senior Editor with Augur Magazine.Follow me:
I've published essays, histories, romance stories, and book reviews on various websites over the years, but all under different pseudonyms than the one I use now. For a sample of my current voice, please consider taking a look at my newsletter.
I began my editing career at a nonfiction press in 2009, careening through academia, teaching, and freelance editing before landing in my current career as a translator. My day job features a heavy editorial component, but speculative fiction still has its claws in me.Imagination is at the heart of speculative fiction, and it is also a critical requirement for building a better world. My editorial passion is in supporting marginalized authors with their imaginative visions of power, becoming, and what may lie ahead.
